Working with families and children every day brings new challenges. Feeling inspired and the huge variety of roles involved in this job keep it interesting.

Favourite holiday to celebrate and why?
Christmas - sitting by the fire in pajamas on Christmas morning. I love the lights, the trees.... Feeling grateful for family and friends.
Describe your dream ice cream sundae:
A mixture of lemon & vanilla ice cream with a chocolate "Flake" bar in the middle.

What makes you excited to come to work everyday?
I enjoy the staff I work with. I love the team approach. I also enjoy working withthe parents and children. It feels good knowing you are trying and wanting to make a positive difference.
Favourite holiday to celebrate and why?
American Thanksgiving: I get to go home to the States, hang out with familty, watch football, then kick off the Christmas season with Black Friday and Christmas decorating on the weekend!
Describe your dream ice cream sundae:
I'm weird, I guess - I actually don't like ice cream (or cake!) at all. I had "pudding cakes" growing up. :)

What makes you excited to come to work everyday?
Seeing children have a sense of pride when they realize that they've acquired a new skills. The hop in their step, the puff of their chest, of the "I can do this!" face are all priceless.

Favourite holiday to celebrate and why?
I'm Iranian and the Iranian New Year marks the first day of spring. I think of my family and loved ones during the New Year, and love seeing all the new buds and leaves begin to grow.

Chocolate and hazelnut frozen yogurt, with berries, nuts and coconut flakes on top.

International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day - mountain biking is a great way to get kids exercising and connecting with nature.

Worked with preschool and school-aged children, as a Speech-Language Pathologist, for 8 years.
What makes you excited to come to work everyday?
Every day I get to play, sing songs and have fun!

Thanksgiving, because there is always pumpkin pie, and no obligation to buy presents - just spend time with family.
