In October 2017, the OSNS gained a valuable mascot; Otis! We knew this cute bear was special, but who knew he would come to be a local celebrity?!
On a mission to raise awareness for the centre, Otis got out into the community representing care and compassion.
A community-wide social media contest launched and businesses were challenged to post a creative post with Otis. The Winner (as voted on by the board) was announced at our 38th Annual Telethon on November 18th, 2017, and again on November 2018 at our 39th Annual Telethon.
