We envision a community in which all children and youth reach their full potential.

OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre strives to support all children. Our programs include treatment services for children with developmental challenges as well as programs that help typically developing children maximize their potential.

Treatment services include:

  • Diagnostics

  • Parent and community education

  • Individualized and group intervention services

Our team includes specialized clinicians in the areas of speech and language, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, social work, behaviour and family support. Whether children need help with routines such as eating and dressing, communication, or with movement or getting along with others - we are here to help.

OSNS programs include a robust evidenced based autism intervention program with proven results. As a team, we know that life with little ones can be difficult. We are here to help families with what matters to them most.

What We Do at OSNS

How you can help

Where play-based learning happens

We work to help all children participate with their peers and their families in all the activities available to them in the community and home life. We work closely with families to identify the goals for their child that are important to them.

What's happening at the OSNS...

come see what we've been up to!

With pandemic cancellations of most annual OSNS fundraisers, the success of the telethon became even more important. “We set our goal at $50,000, but that target came with some trepidation given the pandemic struggles of many donors in our region. It is a testament to the generosity of South Okanagan communities that every business we contacted gave something for our online auction and that the total money raised sailed right past the target to $92,000 and counting.

telethon exceeds expectations

santa was a hit!

With COVID-19 social distancing protocols evolving each day, everyone including Santa had to pivot their approach in connecting over the holiday season.  With some patience and training from the ELF tech team, Santa has gone "Zoom".  Oh what fun!   Our friends from the North Pole and all of us here at OSNS wish everyone a safe and jolly Christmas!
