Welcome to OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre!

Slowly and Carefully Forward

Dear OSNS Families and Friends,

Thank you for your patience while we navigate through the process of finding the best way to offer safe, reliable and effective service during the COVID-19 pandemic. We know that it has been difficult for many of you to manage without regular assessment and treatment sessions for your children.

In June we began gradually and carefully restarting our in-person therapy sessions and implemented a safety plan to help keep everyone as safe as possible during the pandemic. And, as of August 3rd, masks are required to be worn by all adults when inside the building.

Thank you also to the wonderful Friends of OSNS who have volunteered and supported us through this difficult time, both service-wise and financially. Your generosity has meant everything.

Our world has changed, we've learned new things, found new humilities, new gratitudes - and hopefully, we have all refocused on the truly important aspects of life. 💚

We Are Stronger When We Stick Together

We envision a community in which all children and youth reach their full potential.

OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre strives to support all children. Our programs include treatment services for children with developmental challenges as well as programs that help typically developing children maximize their potential.

Treatment services include:

  • Diagnostics

  • Parent and community education

  • Individualized and group intervention services

Our team includes specialized clinicians in the areas of speech and language, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, social work, behaviour and family support. Whether children need help with routines such as eating and dressing, communication, or with movement or getting along with others - we are here to help.

OSNS programs include a robust evidenced based autism intervention program with proven results. As a team, we know that life with little ones can be difficult. We are here to help families with what matters to them most.

How you can help

Where play-based learning happens.

We work to help all children participate with their peers and their families in all the activities available to them in the community and home life. We work closely with families to identify the goals for their child that are important to them.
